When demolishing the building of the cult Sofia bar “The Suitcase” (“Куфара”) for new construction development the large 100 year old walnut tree was cut and thrown at the junkyard.
We manage to save the remaining parts and bring new life to it.
Later on, when emblematic 80s Soviet style hotel “Rodina” renovated the interior we got hold of massive amount of stools.
Two completely different elements, with different history and context are a perfect start for something new.
